Hutton Advertising, LLC is incorporated in the state of Tennesse and provides customers with a wide variety of sign products, services, online design tools and other services to create customized sign products, as well as web hosting, website development, and Search Engine Optimization Services (collectively, the “Services”). The information collected through this site helps us identify the type of web site content our customers value most. We use this information to market and improve the web site and our services. We also use this information to send you email notifications about updates to the web site, and to contact you by other means for marketing and other purposes. Our policy is to not give, sell or otherwise distribute the information collected through this site to third parties outside of Hutton Advertising (unless required by law); provided, however, in some cases we may use suppliers to assist us in collecting, using or otherwise processing for our benefit the information obtained through this site. We do not store any personally identifiable information on the website beyond a user profile and form data.

What non-personal data we collect and why we collect it
Analytics and third party data and where does it go
Throughout our site We employ 1 or more tracking scripts such as Google Analytics and Facebook Pixel and a lead generation tool. These tools do not provide us direct personal information beyond your IP address, which might indicate the company that you work for if it is assigned specific IP addresses for internet access. These tools also store certain details about your device and certain settings such as operating system being used, type of device being used, and the browser being used.
However, if you are using services related to Google or Facebook, Google and/or Facebook may know who you are and or demographic information about you. The information provided to us from these services aggregate the data if we have enough visitors that the services can identify. From that data it is possible to know demographic information for typical visits to a page such age, income range, likes on Facebook, etc. The Analytics profile information allows us to see how a typical visitor might progress through our site. However, we never know exactly who is visiting unless they let us know by filling out a form interacting with messenger. Subsequent visits might be identifiable depending on how many folks use the same IP address or whether the person logs in to our website.
Google and Facebook store their Analytics and Facebook Pixel data on their servers. Clicky (an analytics platform we are testing) stores data on it server. Piwik or Matomo (which we are also experimenting with) store data on a server owned by Us which we do not share with other sources.
As part of standard server practice, this type of data is also stored in server logs for the purpose of managing, operating and securing the server.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
In addition to the obvious data on contact forms, we collect time of visit and IP address, and the page visited. We use this data only for the purpose of providing you Services as listed on the site and on the Terms page. This data is kept indefinitely.
What is a cookie?
A cookie is a series of data characters that, when programmed into a web site, is placed by the web server into the browser’s application folder on your computer. Once placed onto your machine, the cookie will allow the web site to “recognize” you as a unique individual. Cookies reside on Your device and you can generally remove them following your browser’s instructions. They do not contain personally identifiable information.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie will be saved in your browser. This cookie includes no personal data and simply indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.

Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.
What happens when I leave this website to visit a Hutton Advertising linked web site?
Parts of this website consist of products and services hosted by third-party businesses. When you leave our site to visit one of these sites, the only information transferred to the third-party is the fact that you came from this website (the referring address). This practice allows the third-party to monitor its own web site traffic, but does not provide them with any information about you. Hutton Advertising is not responsible or liable for the independent privacy policies of any third-party sites. You should consult the privacy policies at those sites to determine how your information may be used.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment or complete a form, the comment, form data, and the related metadata are retained indefinitely. This policy allows us to recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. The storage of the form data allows us to track our effectiveness at serving you.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their own personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Third party services are described above. Otherwise, data is retained in our position.
Our Contact us page has our full contact information. We only acquire your contact information if you provide it to us for the purpose of making a comment or requesting information or Services.
We do not sell or rent e-mail addresses to other organizations or companies. We may generate e-mail for the following types of communication:
- Uses that will allow you to opt in or opt out. (You will not be subscribed without your permission)
- Notification e-mail to which the individual may subscribe and unsubscribe.
- Commercial e-mail, which is sent to promote a product or service (You may opt not to receive this type of email).

How we protect your data
While we do allow You to pay invoices by accessing our site, the data is stored at the credit card processor and they assume liability for data breaches. In order to protect our login information we use a password reminder tool that stores all passwords in encrypted files on their servers. Therefore, we do not have any passwords stored on our local devices or any of virtual or physical servers.
The only personally identifiable information we store in our system is user profiles and you have control over what information is stored there.
All interactions with our website and all data on our server resides behind a firewall and uses SSL (Secure Sockets Layer, the industry-standard security protocol used to communicate with browsers) to transmit personal information. Data is strongly encrypted during transmission to ensure that personal and payment information is secure. SSL-capable browsers typically have a symbol on the browser window to indicate when they are in a secure mode. In addition, the URL will begin with “https:” for all browsers.
What data breach procedures we have in place
We do not store personally identifiable information on our physical or virtual servers beyond that which you provide in forms or your user profile, which severely limits our liabilities. If we discover a breach of our data we will notify you as soon we reasonably can via email and will take reasonable measures to secure the server.

Lead Forensics provides us information about what companies are assigned to IP addresses of visitors to our website.

Industry regulatory disclosure requirements
We do not do business in the EU and we do not have particular data storage requirements. Are credit card information is stored offsite via Stripe or the Vantage servers.
